Ahhhhhhhh

I feel so invigorated. I just got back from a "girls" weekend. It was just the thing the doctor had ordered. Two days with no kids, no hubbie, and no real responsibilities. What's not to love? Afterall, this was our transportation for local driving while we were there.

I know you can't see it in the above pic, but we even had an Oldsmobile hood ornament on our cart. We all got a kick out of it.

Though I have to admit, the best part of the trip was coming home to my family and the nice weather here in LA. When I left it was 100+, but since I've been back it has been much cooler. I want to say no more than 90. How cool is that (cool meaning awesome and cool at the same time, like how I did that).

I did do a little knitting while I was there, but not much. The shawl is starting to take the type of concentration and attention that I just have not had in me the last few days. I have only the last two charts of the pattern remaining. I'm hoping that I can be done with it by the beginning of next week. Let's cross our fingers.
