Look what I started on this weekend.
Entrelac Socks from IK spring 2007. The woven look of these socks, can I just say love. I keep trying them on as I go and they are soooo comfy.
The socks are on my Summer Knitting List and are intended for my mom, but I think I am going to have to add on (yet again) to the list because now I want a pair for myself. If you look over at my sidebar you can see where I stand with the list.
Though the original list started with eight and now I am up to eleven. How much do I actually think I will get done? How many do you think I will get done?

I love your knitting blog. I've been contemplating those socks, what kind of yarn are you using, if you don't mind me asking.
Thx,
Julie
I hope the socks I send you suit your tastes as well as the near-misses might have. The first thing I considered was Monkeys, and these were the second! Good thing I chose something different. ;)
I'm so impressed you're making those entrelac socks! They are beautiful but my mind boggles everytime I look at the pattern. I'll enjoy watching yours take shape. You've chosen great colors, too.
I started these socks yesterday with Lorna's Laces on 0's and it was too small, so had to frog...luckily while I was still knitting the toe.
What yarn are you using and what needles?
I had done a gauge swatch..in the round even..and thought I was fine. Oops. :)
